News Hour, with Cheryl Oates and Ian McDonald is the most watched newscast in Lethbridge. From the news source Southern Albertans have trusted for over 50 years, Global News is the only local newscast at 6, and includes Southern Alberta's only full-time agriculture and sports reporters. Kimberly Tams, Mark Campbell, Marty Baceda, Elisha Rasmussen and Ian McDonald are all long time Lethbridge residents. It's what we call the homefield advantage.

Cheryl joined the Global Lethbridge team in April 2007 working as part of the technical crew. Since then she's worked as a videographer, producer and anchor. -
Marty Baceda
Sports Anchor
Marty began his broadcasting career at Global Lethbridge in 2002 as a part-time reporter.
