Born and raised in Cochrane, Paul's had a lifelong obsession with
sports. That passion led him to explore sports broadcasting as a career,
something he's been doing since graduating from Calgary's Southern Alberta Institute of
Technology with a Broadcast News Diploma in 2002.
Paul's broadcasting career has led him to three provinces. After a brief
stint at CJFB-TV in Swift Current, Saskatchewan,
Paul settled into a three year stop at CJDC-TV in Dawson Creek, BC.
He had a number of roles in Dawson
Creek, most notably Sports Director and Anchor, and
radio play-by-play voice for the Dawson Creek Jr. Canucks of the NWJHL. In
September 2005 Paul joined the Global Lethbridge team as a full time Sports
Reporter and Weekend Sports Anchor.
During the week Paul can be found covering anything and everything going
on in the Southern Alberta sports scene.
Whether it's following the Lethbridge Hurricanes to the WHL final or taking
Steer Wrestling lessons from former World Champion Lee Graves, Paul is ready to
jump headfirst into any task.
Away from work, Paul's passion for sports is still on-going. During the
winter he's often found playing hockey or skiing, while in the summer he enjoys
golfing (poorly) and baseball.
