Alison Hawkins

Alison was born and raised in Brandon Manitoba, and has always enjoyed spending time there with her family. Her passion in life has always been singing and performing in public.

After Alison graduated from Crocus Plains High School in Brandon, she toured for a couple of years with her band called the “Alison Hawkins Project.”

With interests in writing and public speaking, Alison decided to study broadcast journalism right here in Lethbridge in 2005. After graduating from Lethbridge College two years later, she accepted her first part time reporting position at CKX Television in her hometown. After six months Alison was thrilled to move back to Lethbridge to accept a part time position as a videographer, and has now moved into a full time videographer and anchor position here at Global Lethbridge.

Alison is a volleyball player and a runner, she also enjoys musical theatre and has had great success competing in local and international singing competitions.

Alison hopes to successfully combine her love of singing and story telling one day…whatever that may be. ahawkins@globaltv.com
